Kolaches are all of the above - they're the ideal thing to eat any time of day. Kolache
Factory offers its customers breakfast kolaches, lunch kolaches and even serves
kolaches that are perfect as snacks. Because kolaches can be re-heated, people
frequently have them for dinner.

Q: Where did kolaches originate?

Kolaches originated in Eastern Europe many centuries ago. Our kolaches are a
modern variation of that pastry roll.

Q: Which of your kolaches is the most popular?

Our sausage and cheese kolache is the most popular.

Q: If I'm on a diet, which kolaches should I eat?

We suggest you try the lemon or other fruit kolaches.

Q: What's the best way to re-heat my kolaches?

We recommend you microwave them. For 1-2 kolaches, microwave for 10-15 seconds;
for 3-4 kolaches, microwave for 15-20 seconds; and for 5-6 kolaches, microwave for
25-30 seconds. It's best to microwave kolaches in 5-10 second increments,
checking the temperature each time, rather than cooking them for long periods.

Whatever you do, don't "nuke" a kolache! This tends to turn them into something
resembling a hockey puck. If you are re-heating several kolaches at once, you
might want to use a conventional oven, preheated to 325 degrees. Arrange
kolaches on an ungreased cookie sheet and heat for 5 minutes.
